I was a volunteer in Kids4Kids Action for a Cause project. There was so much excitement in the air as we welcomed the students into the auditorium; I could feel their energy and the way they were bursting with all the ideas they wanted to share with the room. I was amazed by their level of poise and confidence on presentation, and their strong belief in the product or service that they put into pitch. Having the opportunity to develop further with the students was most rewarding, to see first-hand their thinking process and their conviction, but also understanding that as a mentor, I am their soundboard to strive higher, and to help them reach their goals. Working with Kids4Kids has always been a great experience – it is an organisation full of bold creativity, collaboration and focused goals from the outset.
